Services Overview

Different customers and needs

Though sales processes adhere to fundamental principles, yet they can vary significantly in their characteristics. Selling services differs markedly from selling products. Small opportunities that may warrant just a few days of sales effort are quite distinct from larger, more complex deals that can take months or even years to develop—especially when they involve the transfer of personnel and/or assets.

While my clients share some similarities, they also possess unique differences. Some clients have dedicated sales teams and only require temporary additional resources to capitalize on an extra opportunity. Others are becoming progressively sophisticated in their commercial strategies and need specialized expertise to expedite that evolution. I carefully assess each client’s specific circumstances to determine which services will be most beneficial for them.

Three Services Domains

I can assume various roles within my clients’ organizations, depending on the specific circumstances. I often find myself as integral member of my clients’ deal teams, typically engaging directly in hands-on deal-making or business development activities.

On the other hand, there may be occasions when a client chooses to oversee these processes on its own and merely looks for assistance to improve their effectiveness. In these situations, I take on a facilitative role rather than being directly involved. This is where training and coaching play a role.

Finally, clients may wish to elevate the quality of their documents—such as Proposals, Contracts, or Service Level Agreements. Here, document reviews come into play.

Thus, my services are categorised into three distinct domains.

The sales and delivery process

Sales and delivery processes exhibit many parallels, especially in the realm of services. Here’s a concise viewpoint on both. Moonshot Lab primarily focuses on the initial stage (top line): the Business Development phase and the Bidding phase. Once a deal is won, my clients perform various activities that occur before and after Delivery. Also here I can assist.
